Become part of the team!

Why Volunteer with LCYSBA? Your time is the biggest gift you can give these kids. When parents and community members step up, registration fees stay lower, fields look sharper, games run smoother, and – most importantly – every player gets more attention, more encouragement, and more fun. Volunteering doesn’t mean taking on a huge job; even one hour a month makes a real difference. You’ll watch your child (and their teammates) light up knowing Mom, Dad, or a favorite adult is part of the team. You’ll make new friends, learn the game better than ever, and create summer memories that last a lifetime. LCYSBA simply doesn’t happen without volunteers – and every single role matters. Thank you for considering it. These kids will never forget the adults who showed up for them.

High School Player Information

Player Availability (Required for High School Level, Club Ball Players, or Age-Eligible 14U Players Who May Play Up) If your daughter is registering for the High School (15–18U) division, plays club/travel ball (Stix, etc.), or is age-eligible for 14U but may be asked to play up to High School level, please indicate the days she is generally available for practices and games. This information helps us build consistent, competitive rosters and ensures coaches can count on having enough players for every game and practice. Your selections are only a general guide — they do not lock you into specific days or guarantee that games/practices will be scheduled only on those days. Thank you for helping us create the strongest teams possible!

Important Team Formation & Roster Disclaimer

To provide the best possible experience for every player, LCYSBA strives to maintain team rosters of approximately 13 players. This size helps ensure meaningful playing time, quality instruction, and individual development. Depending on final registration numbers, one or more of the following may occur: Tryouts/evaluations may be held to fairly place players on teams that match their skill and experience level Age groups may be combined (for example, combining two consecutive age levels) to form complete rosters Roster sizes may be adjusted slightly Our primary goal is always to create competitive, developmentally appropriate teams while guaranteeing that every registered player has a spot on a team and the opportunity to play and improve. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we finalize teams after registration closes. Coaches and the board will communicate any tryout dates, evaluation details, or age-group combinations as soon as decisions are made. Thank you for your continued support of LCYSBA youth baseball and softball!
