Welcome to 2026 LCYSBA Registration!

Registration is NOW OPEN for the 2026 Summer Season! Join the Lake City Youth Softball Baseball Association (LCYSBA) for another fun-filled summer of baseball, softball, and Tee Ball in Lake City, Minnesota!

We focus on fundamentals, fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and building lifelong friendships in a positive, supportive environment. Our volunteer coaches and community make every season memorable for players of all experience levels.

From first swings in Tee Ball to competitive travel play, there’s a spot for every young athlete!

Registration Window: February 1 – February 22, 2026 Secure your child’s spot early—spots are limited and fill quickly!

Our 2026 Programs

  • Tee Ball (Ages 4–7 / Pre-K to 1st Grade) Perfect intro for little ones and parents/guardians! Emphasis on fun, basics, and smiles—no experience required.
  • Baseball (Boys Ages 7–15) Divisions from coach-pitch/machine-pitch to player-pitch and travel options. Play in local leagues like Zumbro Valley League (ZVBL) and potentially Metro Baseball League (MBL), with practices, games, and possible tournaments.
  • Softball (Girls Ages 8–18) Fastpitch from instructional/machine/T levels to traveling teams. Compete in Southeast Fastpitch Conference league, with twice-weekly games starting early June.

All programs prioritize skill development, participation, respect, and community fun in safe Lake City facilities.

Registration Details

  • Open: Saturday, February 1, 2026 – Sunday, February 22, 2026
  • Register online via our secure WooCommerce products (links below).
  • Fees include team jersey/t-shirt, hat, and more (players provide pants, socks, cleats, glove, etc.).
    • Tee Ball: Typically lower cost (includes T-shirt and photos)
    • Baseball & Softball: Higher divisions include full jersey
    • Family cap: Maximum out-of-pocket of $350
  • Exact fees and inclusions: See each product page for 2026 pricing.
  • Late registrations: Considered case-by-case after February 22 (may include late fees; email us).
  • Scholarships/assistance: Available—contact mail@lcysba.org for info.
  • Proof of age (birth certificate) may be required for some tournaments, be prepared to provide a copy upon request.

What to Know Before Registering

  • Tee Ball Equipment
    • Each player will supply their own of the following items
      • Fielding Glove
      • Baseball pants or athletic pants
      • Rubber cleats or tennis shoes
      • Baseball Hat (Can purchase LC hat as they are not included for T ballers) however any hat is sufficient!
      • Water Bottle
  • Baseball Equipment
    • Each player will supply their own of the following items
      • Fielding Glove
      • Protective Cup
      • White baseball pants (Sorry laundry doers! But you can use bleach!!)
      • Black baseball socks
      • Rubber Cleats (Unless playing at 13u level and up where metal spikes are allowed)
      • Water Bottle
  • Fastpitch Equipment
    • Each player will supply their own of the following items
      • Fielding Glove
      • Fielding Mask (Optional)
      • White softball pants
      • Rubber Cleats (Unless playing at 14u level and up where metal spikes are allowed)
      • Water Bottle
  • Season timeline: Practices may start spring/early summer; games typically mid-May/June through July (no games July 4 week in many cases).
